If you really like everything about Champagne except its price tag than Cremant d'Alsace is for you. Cremant means that it is made using the exact same methods as Champagne, but with grapes from somewhere else. In this csae the somewhere else is Alsace. The grape varities are even the same. It is a blend of three members of the Pinot family: Gris, Blanc, and Noir. Albert Mann is one of the top Alsace producers. All farming is Organic with some Biodynamic principles. The wine is lovely with lemon and pear flavors. A touch of yeasty brioche as well.
