Uruguay is not normally the first country you think about when a wine discussion happens. Garzon could change that perception. It is one of the most picturesque wineries I have encountered. Located in the hills several miles inland from the Atlantic ocean, garzon vineyards are divided into over 1000 plots. Each with its own different microclimate and soil. It produces a textbook Albarino. Light bodied with bright fresh peach and citrus flavors.
