Gerarado Cesari founded this winery in 1936. It was one of the first Veneto producers to reach worldwide distribution in the 70's. The Jema vineyard is plnted to 100% Corvina. All the fruit is hand harvested nad only the best grapes are used for the wine. The vineyard uses the traditional Pergola Veronese training system. The grapes are dried for 20 days to concentrate flavors. Rich with plum and dark berry fruits. The name is a nickname for his grandmother and means "Gem" in Italian.
