The Moreau Family has been part the wine scene in Bordeaux since the early 1800's. Originally they were coopers. Then became cellar masters. Finally in 1911 theywere able to purchas a small plot for themselves. They farm completely Organically (certified in 2013). All the wines are vinified using only native yeasts with the bare minimum of sulfur additions. Expect pear and citrus flavors with a medium body. A refreshing acidity rounds everything out. This house is kind of an outlier for ordeaux. They make only small amounts of interesting wine as opposed to most producers who crank out virtual lakes of wine.
