Gonet-Medeville is a French wine power couple. Julie medeville comes from bordeaux and Chateau Gilette, while Xavier Gonets family has been growing grapes around in Champagne for generations. They only have holdings in Premier and grand cru vineyards. The blanc de Noir is madee up of 100% Pinot Noir grapes. After pressing the majority is vinified in stainless while a small portion is fermented in old cask. Main flavors are apple and pear with some brioche behind. If you lokk you will find some berry fruit in there as well. This has always been one of my favortite somewhat reasonably priced Champages.
