The Brunier brothers are the team behind the famed Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine de Vieux Telegraphe. The fruit for this one comes from two different locales located on the eastern side of the Rhone river. The farming is all Organic. After fermentation, half the wine ages in cement tanks and the other half in barrel, both for 18 months. A little lighterr than its famous cousin, it is ready ot go when you pop the cork with more red fruit and hints of chocolate. A touch of spice and bacon from the small pecentage of Syrah adds a nice touch. Great for a backyard grilling day.
