With Cabernet making up over 50% of this wine you might expect a traditional California Cabernet experience. You would be wrong. Here it is blended with Zin, Merlot, and Pinot Gris. A white blended into a red, heresy. Actually it is done to lighten the wine and make it more refreshing. Mainly darker skined berries with a tinge of baking spice and herbs. This wine screams for food cooked over an open flame. Also very good with fresh to slightly aged cheeses. The wines from these guys are anything but normal, and defiently worth a shot , more likely three.
