This 100% Tempranillo comes to us from Rioja Alavesa, the high elevation and Basque part of Rioja. The grapes are sourced from 300 small holdings around Alavesa. The farming is eitherr organic or sustainable. High elevation wines tend to be lighter and more expressive than their lower elevation Kin. There s a good mix of red and black berry fruit. In the backgroud there will be some lavender and hints of wild herbs. This is quickly becoming our best selling Rioja.
